Walking by Sight. Mastering the error prone mind.

A another Sunday has passed, and for many across the world time has been spent in churches receiving teachings that instruct the blind to walk by sight and not by faith. What does this mean many would ask, “to walk by sight? It was stated by Paul to the Corinthians 2:7, and he spoke to the duality of man’s being. And his understanding was of one filled with the Holy Ghost, and not like those with educated guess-work, and their over the top emotions, used to convey themselves as holy to the detriment of many today.

Walking by sight had a beginning and it is here where we must start to give understanding to many in darkness, hoping their eyes will open, hoping.

What does it mean to walk by sight? Man, and woman is/are created Souls, consciousness, and from within this realm spiritual activity takes place creating on the outer man. Here is the law, “As a man thinketh so is he.” Know this, man is created in the image and likeness of Yahweh, but no man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, he who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Yahushua is the second Adam, he who has shown us the way back to the Father. His was a spiritual demonstration of trust and obedience to the word of Yahweh, and faith in action, the true path to mastering the Soul.

The first Adam, the one born into a relationship with the Father, depicted by the garden, yet, was cast out because of disobedience. His acts we must study to answer the question, “What does it mean to walk by sight,” and in doing so we can fully understand the purpose of the Messiah and his teachings. For if we desire to be his disciple, we must understand why only the Master can say, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man goes unto the Father unless he comes unto the son.” Or else be counted among the blind following the blind, and we all shall fall into the pit.

Yahushua’s teaching will be a continuous theme throughout many blogs because it is the foundation for the understanding that will produce change. Man’s existence is darkness, but Yahushua is a light unto the world, and both darkness and light exists within. Therefore we must strive to let our light shine, which is the doing of the word of Yahweh., and that with understanding. Have you not read, “Get thee wisdom, and get the understanding?”

So let us address man’s beginning for the understanding that removes us from the darkness that is the walking in by sight.  Gen 2:7 And Yehovah Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living Soul. Note, the word did not state man was spirit, but just Soul, consciousness formed of dust. We know Yahweh is Spirit, and the angels are spiritual immortal beings, but man is dust with consciousness.

And the man was placed in a garden representing (Paradise) having direct communication with the Creator, the Almighty God. And unto man was also given free will, as symbolize in Gen 2:19. And out of the ground Yehovah Elohim formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air, and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them. And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Even though Adam was one with the Father, as the garden metaphor indicates, he was given free will. He had conscious autonomy, “And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Those still in bandaged to walking by sight would envision Yahweh bringing sheep and goats to Adam to name, instead of seeing this scene as a metaphor for creative thought in action.

Here we must understand that thoughts become things. “And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. The word called in this stanza means; “Speaking into existence.” The word Name references “That which it shall become.” Therefore, thoughts become things.

Man in paradise had the power to create for good, he was one with the Father, and it was good. Then came that dreadful day when man conceived from the forbidden tree, and his eyes were opened and he saw he was naked, and his thoughts descended into the realm of delusion and darkness. Spiritual ignorance, or thoughts creating in error, came into the world.

What is the forbidden tree? Is it a literal tree bearing fruit, or is it another metaphor for us to seek the hidden meaning within? Adam is a Soul, consciousness, made in the image and likeness of the invisible God, therefore was Adam made out of the dust of the ground. Does the Soul, or consciousness need physical food to survive? Or, have you seen a ghost begging for food? What is a ghost? Is it not a soul/consciousness without a physical body? What does consciousness do? It thinks!

Therefore did Yahweh say to Adam, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Adam is a Soul, consciousness, consciousness does not eat physical food. Yahweh was speaking to a Soul, and the Forbidden tree represents “Thoughts in action within consciousness without God.”

When man ate of the forbidden tree he entered the realm of spiritual delusion, where man’s false perception, and limited understanding of self, would have man think and create in error.

Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened. Were they physically blind at first, stumbling about? If so, how could they see this forbidden tree? What occurred is that they became consciously aware of self. They had fallen from the blessed realm of being God conscious, and all good, to self focus, delusion and destruction.

…And they knew they were naked. This is not a physical nakedness, but a conscious realization of no longer being one, or connected to the Heavenly Father. And also they sowed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons to cover them. Here we are made to understand their conscious thoughts shifted from Yahweh to the resources born of ground. Or, they began to walk by sight. Meaning, they gave rise to thoughts within consciousness centered on self, and not Yahweh.

Are your eyes not opened, do you still not see? There is more.

And when they heard Yahweh walking in the garden in the cool of the day, they hid themselves. I ask you, how is it possible to hide from someone who is omniscient, and omnipresence? Where can you hide that he does not know where you are, and he is not already there? What we are seeing is shameful rejection. The rejection of God because of guilt.

It is what we do today, over and over again. Choosing rather to walk by sight, believing ourselves to be wise, but we are only stumbling fools wandering in darkness. Where art thou, Yehovah calls out to them? And man replied, “I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid.” This afraid is not of the fear and trembling kind, but of the unwilling, and the reluctant. Remember the fruit of the tree, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise. Adam’s thoughts turned to self to the building up of the ego, and the dual state of consciousness (knowing good and evil) and wickedness would soon abound. To which Yahweh replied, “Behold, or Look at what man has done!”
